In the cosmetics branch, there is a strong "back-to-nature" trend. Attempts are made to incorporate fewer chemical substances in the products. This is a good idea.
But is it enough? More and more people have allergies. And even more people have skin that is much too dry.
This raises the question: can "more nature" really solve these two problems? Can "improved nature" … e.g. organically grown plants … improve help to the skin?

ALLERGIES
These involve refraining from using any additives, perfumes, dyes and emulsifiers.
However, not one type of cream has no emulsifiers. Why?
Creams are emulsions. In principle … 99% of them. And all emulsions require emulsifiers.
Therefore, "more nature" can be integrated into the creams … but the problems with the emulsifiers remain:
The emulsifiers increase the
disposition to an allergy.
And something else: all emulsions need natural or chemical preservatives. And precisely these also have their problems:
Preservatives irritate
the skin and stir up
allergic reactions.

DRY SKIN
The problem here is a little different. If the skin is always dry, the "skin barrier" has been damaged. The water that is naturally in the skin escapes. This increased water loss can be measured very precisely (keyword: TEWL).
All creams try to seal off the surface off the skin (= occlusive strategy). This slows the water loss.
But… in order to be able to do this, the creams require emulsions for sealing. The better these emulsions can seal off the surface of the skin, the more mineral oil-based substances (petrolatum) or silicons are used.
But it is precisely these substances that amplify the skin problem. They are extremely foreign to the skin. In this context:
A substance that is foreign to the skin
can seal off well.
A substance that is similar to the skin
cannot seal off at all.
NOESA's DANADEM is similar to the skin; therefore, it cannot seal off the skin. But it can restore the skin barrier. If the barrier regenerates, the abnormal water loss stops. This … and only this … is true skin care.

GENERAL
A skin care product should do more than "shutting off" the skin's problems from the outside so that the skin appears to be smooth and "placid". This is "cosmetics" in the worst sense of the word, i.e. in the sense of retouching.
Everything that shunts skin problems off to the side in order to "make the exterior beautiful" destroys the self-regeneration of the skin over the years, thus destroying the skin's capability for
self-optimization.
An example from the field of science: creams that massively seal off the skin from the outside definitively reduce the skin's capability for regeneration. This can be measured exactly, so that it can be proved: the synthesis of nucleic acid is slowed and reduced. This means that the DNA fitness of the skin is crippled. Due to improper care, the skin loses its biologic vitality.

All in all: "back-to-nature" is the current trend. But "more" or "improved" nature certainly does not solve the skin's problems.
We need a replacement for emulsions. And we need a replacement for linear (chemical) active agents. Only after this has been provided … as is the case for NOESA … can we speak of dermatologic care (also see: DERMATOLOGIC FACTS).
If the skin is cared for correctly in the dermatologic sense, the basis for a healthy skin is established more and more. And precisely this
makes your skin
become a
beautiful skin.
